Community Guidelines
Approved policy bundle. Version 1.2.
Respect people and boundaries
Be kind, respect a no and let people choose how much they share. No harassment, hate, threats, stalking, unwanted advances or pressure to stay in a group.
Protect personal information
Do not post someone else’s phone number, location, photos, messages or other personal information without permission. WhatsApp may make your own number and profile visible to other members.
Keep groups useful
Use event groups for confirmed coordination and optional icebreakers. No spam, scams, unsolicited promotions or mass invitations. A save is not an invitation to contact someone. Group participation grants no automatic marketing or photo permissions.
Follow through or cancel
For real events, commit when you intend to attend and reconfirm when prompted. The product-only UAT does not require physical attendance. If your plans change, use Can’t make it? Cancel in Committed. Cancellation stops your event-specific reminders without automatically removing you from an existing WhatsApp group. You decide whether to stay in or leave that group.
Commitment, attendance and reliability
Saving is a bookmark. A commitment records your intention to attend a real event; it is not a ticket, admission, group assignment or verified attendance. Reconfirmation is a separate response that your intention has not changed. Joining a WhatsApp group does not prove attendance. The 15-person UAT is a product test with no physical attendance. Test commitments, responses, group membership and feedback must never create actual attendance records, no-show strikes or reliability penalties. A no-show means someone reconfirmed yes for a real event, did not cancel and did not attend, based on reasonably verified information. A late cancellation is not automatically a no-show. A cancellation, declined reconfirmation, nonresponse, failed message or unknown attendance is not proof of a no-show. During the initial public-launch period through December 31, 2026, verified no-shows are recorded without automatic penalties, strikes, fees, access restrictions or ranking reductions. The end of that period does not automatically enable penalties; any later policy requires separate review and notice. Reliability means following through on commitments to real events. UAT activity does not contribute to it. HangAgain does not currently display a public reliability score. Attendance that has not been explicitly recorded stays unrecorded.
Communication channels
The website and WhatsApp are the standard participant communication channels. HangAgain does not send routine participant emails or email marketing. The website is the authoritative location for Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, FAQ, consent controls and legal notices. Where applicable law requires a particular notice method, that requirement takes precedence; this does not authorize routine email communication or email marketing.
Leave and report
You can leave a group at any time using WhatsApp’s group settings. Report concerns privately through the form in Settings & privacy or Committed. Reports are stored privately for review; HangAgain does not continuously monitor chats or guarantee an immediate response. For emergencies, contact local emergency services.
How concerns are handled
HangAgain may review reports and restrict access for misuse or unsafe conduct. Use the website’s private report form. Contact support@hangagain.com for participant support. This does not authorize routine participant email notifications. Before launch, the operator must identify the reviewer, review routine and escalation process. Access restrictions should follow a documented review, with serious concerns escalated appropriately.
