HangAgain helps you find people to enjoy San Francisco events with. Find something fun, commit to going, and we'll help bring a small group together. No new app to download. Just real plans and good company.

Yes! HangAgain is currently free to use. Some events may require tickets or registration through their organizers. Any HangAgain fees, if introduced, will be clearly shown before you pay.

Usually 4–7 people, with five being our sweet spot. We start forming groups once at least four people commit. Sometimes a smaller group of three may be offered if plans change and everyone agrees.

You're telling us you'd like to go, and we'll work on finding your group. Committing doesn't automatically reserve a ticket or guarantee a group, so remember to check the organizer's event details.

We'll usually check in around 48 hours before the event to see who's still in. You'll have a response window to reconfirm, generally within the day before your event, and we'll share the next steps once your group is ready. Your specific deadlines will always appear with your plan.

Plans change! Just cancel or release your spot as soon as you know you can't make it. That gives someone else a chance to join. Your group will appreciate the heads-up.

Your spot may be released so the group can finalize its plans. Don't worry, missing a reconfirmation isn't treated as a no-show.

Sometimes a group doesn't quite come together. If three people are still in after reconfirmation, we may offer a smaller hang. Everyone gets to decide whether they're comfortable proceeding. Quality over quantity!

Be thoughtful about committing, respond when we check in, and let us know if you can't make it. A no-show means someone reconfirmed yes, didn't cancel, and didn't attend, based on reasonably verified information. We're currently focusing on encouragement and learning, not automatic no-show penalties.

We'll use WhatsApp for event confirmations, reminders and group coordination, with your permission. You can always check your plans, update preferences and find our policies on the HangAgain website.

Of course! You can cancel your commitment on HangAgain and leave the WhatsApp group whenever you want. Just remember these are two separate actions.

Absolutely, if you want to! Feel free to share fun moments or participate in optional icebreakers. Ask before sharing identifiable photos of others, particularly outside the group. HangAgain doesn't automatically obtain rights to use your photos for advertising or promotion. Remember that other WhatsApp members may see your phone number and profile information.
