Information we collect
Account information includes your verified phone number, first name, age range and neighborhood. Your profile includes selected interests, group energy and any optional context you choose to provide. We store event saves, commitments, reconfirmations, group assignments, consent versions/timestamps, support requests and private safety reports. For actual events, separately recorded attendance or verified no-show evidence must be distinguishable from test activity. The 15-person UAT has no physical attendance and must not create actual attendance, no-show or reliability records. Hosting and authentication systems also process request information such as IP addresses, device/browser information and session data.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, save your profile, recommend events, record your choices, coordinate group participation, prevent abuse and respond to concerns. Optional context is not identity verification. Gender identification is not required, and HangAgain does not infer gender for matching. Saving an event does not authorize marketing messages or group invitations. MVP 0 does not send unrelated promotional or marketing messages.
Attendance and reliability records
The 15-person UAT is a product test with no physical attendance. Test commitments, responses, group membership and feedback must never create actual attendance records, no-show strikes or reliability penalties. A no-show means someone reconfirmed yes for a real event, did not cancel and did not attend, based on reasonably verified information. A late cancellation is not automatically a no-show. A cancellation, declined reconfirmation, nonresponse, failed message or unknown attendance is not proof of a no-show. During the initial public-launch period through December 31, 2026, verified no-shows are recorded without automatic penalties, strikes, fees, access restrictions or ranking reductions. The end of that period does not automatically enable penalties; any later policy requires separate review and notice. Reliability means following through on commitments to real events. UAT activity does not contribute to it. HangAgain does not currently display a public reliability score. Attendance that has not been explicitly recorded stays unrecorded.
Communication channels
The website and WhatsApp are the standard participant communication channels. HangAgain does not send routine participant emails or email marketing. The website is the authoritative location for Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, FAQ, consent controls and legal notices. Where applicable law requires a particular notice method, that requirement takes precedence; this does not authorize routine email communication or email marketing.
Who can see what
HangAgain does not show participant phone numbers, attendee profiles or member rosters on public event pages. Public event counts exclude fictional test accounts. Authorized operators can access records needed to run the service and review reports. Service providers support authentication and database storage, website hosting and operational infrastructure, and messaging and group coordination. We share information needed for those services. Additional provider-specific disclosures will be made where required by applicable law. Providers have their own terms and privacy practices.
WhatsApp phone visibility
With your explicit consent, HangAgain may automatically add you to your event WhatsApp group after reconfirmation, and pause for review if WhatsApp privacy settings prevent addition. Any alternative invitation requires separate authorization. Other group members may see your phone number and WhatsApp profile information. We cannot promise that a username hides your number or prevents another person from sharing it. Do not share other people’s information. Withdrawing consent stops eligibility for future group actions; leave an existing chat using WhatsApp’s group settings.
Group content and permissions
Event WhatsApp groups are for confirmed participants to coordinate the event and, if they choose, try optional icebreakers or take optional group photos with permission from everyone involved. Joining a group does not grant marketing permission or permission to use, publish or promote anyone’s photos, messages or likeness. Ask separately before photographing, sharing or reusing someone’s content. Other group members may see your phone number and WhatsApp profile information.
Cookies and device storage
Authentication uses session cookies. Browser resources may be cached to operate the website. This draft does not authorize advertising trackers. A provider/cookie inventory must be confirmed before publication.
Your choices
You can update your profile and interests, unsave events, cancel commitments and withdraw WhatsApp consent in Settings & privacy. Optional information can be cleared. Use the private report form while signed in to request access, correction or deletion. These requests require operator review; automated deletion is not currently provided. The website must provide a usable privacy-request route for people who cannot sign in before launch. Contact ComposedSecurity LLC at support@hangagain.com for support or privacy requests. This address is not a routine participant notification channel. Requests may require verification and may be subject to legal retention obligations.
Retention and security
We retain account and participation records to operate the service, preserve relevant history, handle concerns and meet legal obligations. A documented retention/deletion schedule still needs approval. Access controls restrict private records and group links, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Deleted website data may remain temporarily in provider backups under their retention policies.
Adults and policy changes
HangAgain is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Material privacy changes require an updated version and notice. This review draft is not approved or effective and does not claim that all regulatory requirements have been met. ComposedSecurity LLC operates HangAgain; contact support@hangagain.com. The privacy request procedure, retention schedule, applicable jurisdictions and required disclosures still need review before publication.
